Looking to the future while adapting to the challenges of the present and conceiving new scenarios.
Incomparable with existing ones. Simply different. In this pandemic, this is the spirit with which Fima Carlo Frattini has inaugurated Switch Gallery, a corporate exhibition space that becomes a virtual showroom.
A 300 m2 surface area directly at the heart of the company, intended to welcome clients and workers according to formats and personal preferences or requirements.
Two worlds can in fact simultaneously exist in Switch Gallery, the virtual and the real world, as recalled by the latest trends of phygital marketing, a curious combination of PHYsical and diGITAL.
The objectives remain common in all cases: training, presentation, sharing.
And most of all, hospitality, intended as the direct involvement in the project and Fima’s corporate vision.
AN EXHIBITION SPACE FOR INTERACTIVE PRESENTATION OF TAPS AND FITTINGS
Switch Gallery is an iconic location. A suspended platform whose confines are highlighted by a row of led lights, with precise access portals inviting entry. Definitely not a traditional showroom to exhibit products and company novelties, but a new immersive experience sensed at first glance.
On the one side, a led wall with corporate brand forming the trait d’union. In the centre, a large, mobile workbench to set up for individual occasions. And then, linear and aligned modules intended for presentation of the most innovative products.
These structures are flexible, mobile and easily configurable according to needs. They have functional products, with clearly identified themes to take in the corporate philosophy and let water do the talking.
Although it is true that, in attendance, new products can be seen and touched, even remotely you can still perceive their value and interact with the elements, with the sensation of “touching them”, even if only virtually.
An example lies in the current set up of the showroom, where the underlying theme is shower surroundings.
Each module contains different configurations to illustrate the new Switch system available in three types: built-in, shelf and column.
The solutions are completed with one or more shower heads from the new Still series in white or black finishes, or with the In and Out versions of the O3 shower head.
The multiple possibilities proposed by Fima are immediately perceived to extend the search for wellness.
A FLEXIBLE SET UP FOR YOUR TRAINING
The name “Switch Gallery” already suggests its vocation of being a versatile space, capable of rapidly changing its configuration to adapt to different needs, including training.
The possibility of concentrating each time on individual projects or concepts to help clarify issues even in virtual presence. Working on functioning products enables complete training, not only in terms of catalogue collections, but also the methods and possible uses of the items, interacting live with those presenting them.
The future challenge will be to provide training on the choice and combination of materials and finishes, inserting taps and fittings among the primary elements of design. And organise operational physical or digital workshops here with architects, designers and workers.
We strongly believe that this flexible space equipped with the best technologies allows the objective to be achieved.
UNO SHOWROOM DIGITALE PER CONDIVIDERE LE ESPERIENZE
The need to change the level of dialogue with the network of partners, architects and clients is essential to Switch Gallery. There is a desire to meet, shorten the gap and host at the heart of the company to enable a more direct and immersive experience, giving a voice to people in Fima who work there on a daily basis.
The opportunity to design a showroom as a virtual stage to broaden the audience, without however losing sight of perception of the individual. For this reason, we have reasoned on the co-existence and style of live hosting in Switch Gallery.
It won’t be hard to create a friendly atmosphere during meetings, sitting among the steps facing the exhibition space or discussions around the workbench to create mood boards to hang in the exhibition modules.
This same climate must also transpire to online events. More an exchange and discussion than a frontal lesson. This is why the hospitality space must not stand in the background, but become the protagonist, offering occasions to interact with the materials, the items and the water. Other than obviously promoting contact among participants.
A FORM OF HOSPITALITY THAT LOOKS TO THE FUTURE
Switch Gallery remains a space in the making. A container to display ideas and future designs. It can host events, people, web meetings...or perhaps become the stand for a potential virtual exhibition.
An important stimulus also for our collaborators and area managers who now know they have an extra resource available to them to interact with clients.
In a reality like Fima’s, where hospitality has always been at the centre of a precise project to get known, Switch Gallery represents an important novelty to affirm brand vision. With an invitation to build ties and expand over time beyond the meeting, whether physical or digital.
