CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
Congratulations! You’ve chosen a reliable, high-quality blender.
For your mixer to function properly and last a long time, the installation and maintenance instructions outlined in this brochure must be followed. Our mixers are tested at pressures significantly higher than normal operating pressures; however, for maximum performance in terms of durability and maneuverability, we recommend maintaining the following water pressure and temperature:
- operating pressure: 1÷5 bar;
- max water temperature: 80° C (176°F) (A) ;
- Before proceeding with installation, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the pipes to eliminate any debris present (B) . To prevent foreign bodies present in the supply water from penetrating the mixing unit, it is good practice to install stop valves with filters upstream of the taps. If the flow pressure exceeds 6 bar, it is recommended to install a pressure reducer; furthermore, significant differences in pressure between the hot and cold water supplies should be avoided;
- the hoses must be screwed on by hand, do not use tools (C) ;
- do not twist the hoses (D) .

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR CLEANING PRODUCT SURFACES
We recommend regular cleaning of all our products to prevent excessive dirt buildup, which could cause abrasive damage and alter the appearance and shine of the surfaces.
- Use only products with a neutral pH specifically supplied for this type of use;
- never use cleaning materials containing hydrochloric acid, formic acid, chlorine bleach, or acetic acid, as they cause significant damage;
- phosphorus acid cleaners are applicable only under certain conditions;
- mixing different detergents is generally not permitted;
- never use cleaning materials or appliances with an abrasive effect, such as unsuitable cleaning powders, sponges or microfibre cloths;
- detergent manufacturers’ instructions must be followed carefully;
- cleaning must be carried out with a specific dosage of detergent, for an adequate limited time, related to the objects and adapted to needs;
- limescale must be removed by cleaning regularly;
- when using spray cleaners, spray the cleaning solution onto a soft cloth or sponge, never directly onto FIMA CARLO FRATTINI products, as the atomized spray could enter openings and empty spaces in the product and cause damage;
- After cleaning, rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove any detergent residue.
ATTENTION
Residues from toiletries such as liquid soaps, shampoos and shower gels, hair dyes, perfumes, aftershaves, and nail polish can cause damage. Again, rinse thoroughly with water after use to remove residue. Likewise, do not store detergents or chemicals underneath products, such as in a vanity unit, as the fumes could damage them. Components with damaged surfaces must be replaced, otherwise there is a risk of injury. Damage caused by improper handling is not covered by our warranty.

AERATORS
Our faucets require no special maintenance, except for periodic cleaning of the aerator, which collects debris and limescale on the internal screen, causing a gradual loss of flow over time. To clean the aerator screen, proceed as follows: unscrew the aerator by turning it counterclockwise. Remove impurities from the filter mesh using running water and/or soaking it in vinegar to dissolve limescale (do not soak chrome or finished parts). Reassemble, ensuring the gasket is properly seated. For faucets with a coin-slot aerator, simply use a coin to unscrew it. Then clean it under running water with a soft brush or soak it in vinegar to remove limescale residue.

SHOWER HEADS
Perform regular maintenance by unscrewing the shower head from the arm and joint, pushing from below with your finger, and removing the gasket with filter and the flow-reducing ring to free the filter mesh of impurities using running water and/or soaking it in vinegar to dissolve the limescale. Reassemble, checking the correct positioning of the gasket (E) . Failure to maintain and clean the nozzles regularly can cause them to clog, resulting in breakage of the shower head and consequent leaks.
- BRASS AND ABS SURFACES: To clean brass or ABS shower heads, use only water or neutral detergents, rubbing gently and drying with a soft cotton cloth. Absolutely avoid the use of alcohol, solvents, and solid or liquid detergents containing corrosive or acidic substances, cloths containing synthetic fibers, abrasive sponges, or pads with metal wires, as they may irreversibly damage the treated surfaces.
- STAINLESS STEEL SURFACES: Our stainless steel shower heads have delicate mirror-like surfaces; we recommend cleaning the surfaces with a mild soap, rubbing gently, and drying with a soft cotton cloth, always wiping in the direction of the finish of the shower head, never in a circular motion. Never use chlorine-based products or bleach.
- SILICONE NOZZLES: Our silicone nozzles expand with hot water, thus removing the first layer of limescale; they can be cleaned by simply passing a finger over them to release the limescale (F)
